I have been taking levo for 9 years, my current dosage is 150mcg but I still don't feel better. Just wondering if it's time to consider adding T3 and seeing if it will help my symptoms? Thank you for reading
TSH 4.31 (0.27 - 4.20)
Free T4 16.7 (12 - 22)
Free T3 3.3 (3.1 - 6.8)

Reading through your last post and replies - there is absolutely no point in adding T3 until you have sorted out your absorption issues and raised your vitamins and minerals. Are you self-injecting ? - or do you have B12 injections with your GP ?
1) Address the Hashi's by adopting a strict gluten free diet and supplementing with selenium l-selenomethionine 200mcg daily, and keeping TSH suppressed can also help reduce antibodies.
You don't have to be coeliac for a gluten free diet to help.
2) Address any gut/absorption problems that is connected with the Hashi's - see SlowDragon 's information and links in her reply towards the end of this thread healthunlocked.com/thyroidu...
3) Optimise all your nutrients and the levels needed are
Vit D - 100-150nmol/L
B12 - top of range
Folate - at least half way through range
Ferritin - half way through range
4) Get your TSH down to 1 or below, only then can you know by your FT4 and FT3 results if you converting well enough or whether you need to add T3.
TSH as high as that on 150 T4. Ratio FT4/FT3 is over 5/1. Good converter should be around 4/1 or better. Free T3 at rock bottom of range. Overall, a strong case for T3 supplementation to avert poor conversion.
