OT :Update 5th week on B1+B6+B12 injections

So, 12 vitamin injections intramuscularly and have gotten some of my life back!

I thought one shot was 0.33 mg B12, 33 mg B6 and 33 mg B1 but reread the leaflet and its ~1 mg B12 ,~100 mg B6 and ~100 mg B1.

I tolerate the shots fine, B12 in cyanocobalamin form and no problem for me.

My temperature is now 36.3 -36.8 , before it was 35.5-35.8.

I sleep well, i eat better , i tolerate heat, i am calm. No brain fog! I still seem to need weekly shot , it wears out after five days, i get short of breath and feel lactic acid build up.

I had cousins visiting for 4 days and didnt crash, we even went for a hike. Being social was effortless!!!!

Unfortunately the private practice is closing down as the manager/owner/gp has successfully treated hundreds of patients with T3 which authorities consider patients are mistakenly cured 😠

atm i dont know if i can continue and where this leaves me. They have to stop all T3/ cfs treatments by 1.8.2018. I fall into cfs category but was possibly getting trial of T3 + iodine based on the latest research but over here in Finland treatment for cfs is exercise and ad's....

Officially shots are for vitamin deficiency (low b12 ,high homocysteine) but i doubt my local hospital will carry on weekly shots. Nurses in my local hospital are awesome and they follow my improvement and i get to educate them about these things each time so i hope they back me up.

There is still loads of room for massive improvement, but it takes time and if i am forced to quit it will be major set back.

So sorry to hear that, Justina. Imagine, a clinic having to shut down because they're making people better! What is the world coming to?

Crazy.

Exactly! Sounds ridiculous and authorities made the call based on T3 treatment causing undetectable TSH because one endo consider it dangerous. So its just her word even though several other endos disagree with her but only her statement was noted.

Owner of the private practice has published all documents and statements so we have been able to read them so we know only one statement was quoted in the decision.

Owner has consulted experienced endos multiple times and they have agree undetectable TSH isnt problem as patients are feeling well. None of those statements were included in final decision.

Life is a bitch and then you marry one. Owner tried to find a solution, to ask why only one statement was quoted and noted, why he had to close down as no harm was done, none of the patients had complained. No response,no effect. Several people have contacted ombudsman, congressmen and so on to question authorities making such one sided call as we cant see this call legal and rightful based on facts.

Not sure does it make any difference but we hope this ongoing debate of T3 would finally end!

It's unbelievable, isn't it. I wonder what power that woman has over everybody. Doesn't sound very above board to me.

They just wanted to close down that practice and this was their only way. They have tried to do it over a year already.

Not odd here, one doctor specialising in CFS had to close down as well because he used LDN as it's not approved to use for CFS. Didn't matter his patient's wellbeing improved on LDN.

And many others.

Can't say why it is this way but has been going on for awhile.

I think it's a universal problem. They just don't want patients to get better. :(

I agree. Limiting doctors punishes patients, not doctors. Like in this case he has his rights to prescribe any other meds but T3 and not allowed to run a private practice but he can still work for other doctors/ public hospitals and continue good work otherwise. No law limits him for example guiding his patients to travel to get treatment. He met some other Scandinavian doctors and were planning on having a conference where they would educate other doctors. He can still do all that. So it's not him suffering , it's his patients. Which I think is the purpose. They couldn't take away his license because no harm was done but this way they can make sure he can't help most of his patients.

I do feel it's patients they want to punish for demanding better treatment and i have my reasons to believe so based on what has happened over here recently.

Hi Justine Glad you are feeling better. I wondered if you had looked into buying B12 inj online. I am not selling anything , just curious. Take care

I know its possible to buy B12 but i need B1 + B6 as well.

I have understood there are few causes of build up of lactic acids which are for example heart and lung diseases. In my case it seems to be at the moment unknown malfunction on cellular level leading to B1 deficiency. On cellular level you need B1 to make energy from carbohydrates , for me it doesnt happen and it turns into lactic acids. Its called crebs cycle. B1 and B6 are needed to both to make energy and brake down lactic acids.

To me the symptoms are stiff muscles , shortness of breath and brain fog. Now that i am on this treatment i feel the difference, when the shot wears out cramping starts from my left buttock spreading to both calves and back causing pain and radiating headache.

There are muscle and mitochondrial diseases causing these type of symptoms and no known treatment except vitamin B and Q10. I havent been tested for those but might get tested if it seems i need B1 on long term.

Hi Justina Thank you very much for your comprehensive response. I am in a catch 22 as unable to take B12 orally and scared of buying injections. I may take the plunge tho and buy injections online as the peripheral neuropathy is driving me mad. I don't know where to buy injections online as the German company has closed down. x
