Advice if possible?

So my bloods were tested last week and as suspected (after my doctors great idea to reduce my Levo from 125mcg to 100mcg) my TSH was up form 0.325 to 1, and my T4 down from 19.2 to 14. In the meantime, I commented to the doctor that I can feel a lump in my neck, but it feels more inside my throat, and that my voice is gravelly and I have a choking sensation, or a feeling that some food is stuck in my throat. My doctor made a comment about a retrosternal goitre, and booked me an urgent appt for Thursday morning. Does anyone have any expericne with this, I am totally panciked about this, what does it possibly mean, and will I require surgery??? I just know that I can't go on like thi with the feeling of choking? Thankyou in advance.

I think throat problems can be common (I've had problems) and still do but I certainly don't have a goitre. I think sometimes they just guess but at least he's referred you to another more experienced doctor..
