So, I take it that he reduced the dose because of the low TSH, without testing the FT4 and FT3, is that right? Did you have symptoms of over-medication. If not, and if he didn't test the Frees, then he had no right to reduce your dose. It could very well be that you are a poor converter, and reducing the dose has caused your FT3 to go very low, which is what is causing the symptoms. If I were you, I'd go back to him and insist he puts the dose back up again.

Tanks, ft3 and ft4 seeems normal, the only ones that are high are the ones mention above.

We do not want 'normal' in blood tests. We need 'optimal' i.e. T4 and T3 nearer the top of the range rather than somewhere within it. TSH 1 or lower (as yours is).

Sorry, that doesn't tell us anything at all! We need the actual numbers : results and ranges, dates and doses. Without all that exact information, anything we say will just be a wild guess.

What were your last thyroid results before dose was reduced ?

You will need full blood tests after 6-8 weeks on reduced dose.

For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4, TT4, FT3 plus TPO and TG thyroid antibodies.

Plus very important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12

Low vitamin levels are extremely common and can cause symptoms in own right and/or affect Thyroid

Private tests are available. Thousands on here forced to do this as NHS often refuses to test FT3 or antibodies

thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/testin...

Medichecks Thyroid plus ultra vitamin or Blue Horizon Thyroid plus eleven are the most popular choice. DIY finger prick test or option to pay extra for private blood draw. Both companies often have money off offers.

All thyroid tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and fasting. If on Levothyroxine, don't take in the 24 hours prior to test, delay and take straight after. This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, GP will be unaware)

If antibodies are high this is Hashimoto's, (also known by medics here in UK more commonly as autoimmune thyroid disease).

About 90% of all hypothyroidism in Uk is due to Hashimoto's. Low vitamins are especially common with Hashimoto's. Food intolerances too, especially gluten. So it's important to get tested.
