Advice on when to increase t3 please.

Last week I swapped 25t4 for 6.25t3. So now I'm taking 75t4 and 25t3. How soon after this can I increase t3 by another 6.25?

I wanted to lower my ft4 and increase my ft3 so I think I will need to add another 6.25 T3 to achieve that.

Any advice are most welcome.

You can increase again two weeks after starting the 25 mcg T3.

It's difficult to say exactly how much T4 equals how much T3 - some say x3, say x4, but it does rather depend on how well you were converting.

The thing is my breasts have started to hurt really bad and it's just before ovulation now. I have had this before since starting treatment with both t3 and t4 and at least at one of those episodes I was undermedicated. It went away as soon as I had had ovulation. That's why I'm looking to increase t3 asap.

I understand, but not a good idea to increase too quickly. Especially once you've reached 25 mcg.

Ok, will wait 2 weeks. Could this be something that passes and be caused by my body adjusting to the new dose of t4 and t3? I know that estrogen is affected by thyroid hormones and maybe it's higher now because it's adjusting to the new ratio?

Great Advice . I usually go by 3.5 and it works for me .
