i’ve been trying to increase t3 to twice a day but when I do this I’m getting terrible headaches and I’m also been having diarrhea and stomach ache I’m not feeling well for about two weeks now constantly and on and off before that. It is very hard to tell if it could be the T3 because I have irritable bowel syndrome but this seems worse than my usual for sure. My blood sugar is crashing a lot more lately too but again there could be many reasons for that. I have started supplementing vitamin B 12 again with 10,000 MCG per day . My doctor wanted me to increase the vitamin D and take a vitamin D that is taken once a week but I did not want to do that so I’m still taking my vegan drops that have k2 but I’ve increased it to 4000 a day. I really think the problem is that I’m not absorbing vitamin D for some reason I have so many digestive problems and I probably have celiac and never tested positive I have all of the signs of that and eliminatung gluten and all grain totally helped

He said if I do not feel better then more testing probably of cortisol levels. I’m not sure what to do because More T3 seems to be making me sick but on the other hand it does seem to have helped reduce my TSH, improved my cholesterol and improved my blood sugar. Mch is low again too but rbc us normal so no anemia

Is there anyway to help your body adjust to t3? I’m only taking a very low-dose as it is. I just feel like something else has to be wrong because I really only feel like a minor improvements and I feel very exhausted my schedule of sleeping is very bad right now also, I have terrible stress with a very Ill older cat and my other cat who jumps on her- they both have to be separated now and she is on medication possible times a day while he is on the calming supplements.

Presumably you are not in UK looking at vitamin D measuments

Many of us in UK use vitamin D mouth spray by Better You as avoids poor gut function of Hashimoto's. Can you get some online?

Are you also taking magnesium supplements? Important when on vitamin D and with gut issues we are often low in magnesium

As well as taking B12 you may need vitamin B complex. This improves all the b vitamins. We are often low in other B's not just B12.

If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 3-5 days before any blood tests, as biotin can falsely affect test results

Do you supplement selenium?

Or zinc?

Vitamin C good for adrenal support

Improving gut with probiotics, fermented foods like kefir and sauerkraut may help too

Thanks, i will look for that spray at amazon. Im taken vegan drops in oil now. I have ordered eyedrops from the UK on Amazon. I Can’t take vitamin C, Or any any other B supplements that contain B6 etc. I can’t take too much magnesium because that rips a hole in my stomach same with zinc.. I was taking selenium years ago but I really do not want to take too many supplements now because of my type one diabetes I never know how this is going to affect everything and my stomach is supersensitive not really from Hashimoto’s because it has been that way for most of my adult life. It’s probably because I was eating gluten and grains when I shouldn’t have been and IBS. But now I’m pretty sure it’s the T3 doing this to me which is bad because I think I do need to take more of it. I Take a probiotic daily but I cannot take kefir because that upsets my stomach a lot when I tried that I will look into sauerkraut I’m not sure how that will affect me if it is spicy or not I cannot eat anything that’s too spicy. I have only ever found one probiotic that I was able to take without getting bad runs.
