How do I take an accurate temperature. I used two different thermometers this morning. Digital in mouth was 36.2 and mercury under armpit was 35.8. Trying to see how t3 is working

Thermometers can vary. Pick one and stick with it, even if not 100% accurate you will see the direction of change. Mouth temp can vary with breathing cold air or drinks, I use under arm.

Pick you thermometer, pick where you are going to put it and pick a time of day to take it. When you wake is good. If it is going higher every day you may be over medicated. You can google what temp range is normal and what is feverish.

Everything is more complicated than we'd like. :-(

Measured temperature depends on how you measure it, where you measure it, when you measure it and, importantly, how carefully you measure it.

A Greybeard replied, pick your thermometer and stick with it. The fact that your measurement is half a degree up or down because of the thermometer (compared to someone else's measurement) is not important. That it is a half a degree, a degree, or more, higher at one time than another is what is important.

The Wiki article, not nearly as good as it could be, is not a bad starting place to have a read.

You will see that armpit and mouth can be different.
