Negative bloods and nodule

Hi all, had blood tests done for thyroid including thyroxin which were all negative. I have just had ultrasound showing nodule on one side which I can feel. The guy did biopsy there and then which is something.

He said to contact consultant ref results. So if the nodule is benign what would the approach be? To just leave it? How can I have an uncomfortable nodule like this with no positive blood results.

Not sure what you mean by 'negative' thyroid results, so could you post the results and ranges, so that we can get a better idea what's going on?

Nodules don't normally affect blood test results. Most people have them, but if yours are obstructing your breathing, you should probably have your thyroid removed.
