Supplement advice.

I have Hyperthyroidism and currently on 125mg of Levothyroxine. Someone has recommended Menopace Original to help my early menopause symptoms. Are they safe to take together and do they work?

It's like most multivitamins, not always enough of some things to be helpful, but that one contains iron so the other ingredients won't be absorbed as iron needs to be taken 2 hours away from everything else.

Due to the fact that it seems to be just a general multivitamin/mineral, you would probably be better off testing Vit D, B12, Folate and Ferritin and supplement any low levels that may be highlighted.

I know you say you have hyperthyroidism, but for anyone else reading your thread, of concern to hypo patients is the fact that it does contain soya, also 225mcg Iodine, and Iodine really should be tested before supplementing.

I agree with Susie. Waste of money and could do more harm than good.
