want to try t3 meds

i have been so sick and miserable taking only my t4 meds levothyroxine, and after some blood tests i believe i my body has a problem converting t4 to t3 and will instead convert it to reverse t3.. i would like to try a low dose of t3 meds or liothyronine as they call it, but my doctor is unwilling to prescribe anything other than the standard levothyroxine. i look at online pharmacies that don't require prescriptions and i know this is terrible but i'm desperate to feel better. i want to do this as safely as possible, so i was wondering if anyone here knows of a good source of real liothyronine online that isn't dangerous or fake.

We need to see your most recent thyroid bloods results and any vit tests for B12, Vit D, iron, ferritin and folate

For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4, TT4, FT3 plus TPO and TG thyroid antibodies. Plus vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12.

Essential to test thyroid antibodies, FT3 and FT4 plus vitamins

Add results and ranges for recent results

Private tests are available for any you have not had

thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/testin...

Medichecks Thyroid plus ultra vitamin or Blue Horizon Thyroid plus eleven are the most popular choice. DIY finger prick test or option to pay extra for private blood draw. Both companies often have money off offers.

All thyroid tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and fasting and don't take Levo in the 24 hours prior to test, delay and take straight after. This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, GP will be unaware)

If antibodies are high this is Hashimoto's, (also known by medics here in UK more commonly as autoimmune thyroid disease).

About 90% of all hypothyroidism in Uk is due to Hashimoto's

Essential to have vitamin levels optimal FIRST and if you have Hashimoto's then likely gluten free diet will help too

Adding T3 to the mix will not work if you have LOW B12 - Folate - Ferritin - VitD.

Do you have copies of the tests you had revealing T4 is not converting ? Post them here so members can comment :-) How much Levo are you taking ?
