I hope this is ok to ask. I am going to Spain soon, but I've never been abroad with vitamins - what's the deal? Do you need to carry the packaging, or is a pillbox ok? And is there a limit on what you can carry?
I'll be taking something like 10/day at the time (vit D, B12, selenium, probiotics, vitamin A) so quite a lot!

I would be taking them in their original packaging. I took a lot to Australia years ago and was questioned about them on the way through border control but there was no problem as they were all in their original pots.
Thanks! I thought it would be alright, but I've never done it before. I really just want to be sure I won't have to bin them... It's like binning a £50 note!
I guess I'll be safer as we won't have to go through full on border control in the EU as well.
I go backwards and forwards to France quite often and take any amount of this stuff in my carry on bags. No one has ever looked at it. It's liquids and electronics they usually pounce on
Hi Cooper. Be on the safe side!. In today's climate better to have everything labelled properly. Chances are you will have minimal problems. But, like doctors, you could always get a security person who can't think outside the box, or insists on going right by the book, OR is just on a power trip. Don't mean to be negative but it's not worth the aggravation of losing your meds and money because you were checked in by the wrong person. Take care and have a good trip. Adios! irina1975
