Good morning My Lovelies!

I just wanted to thank all of you wonderful Thyroid UK Admins who work so hard on getting the rest of us well.

After taking T4 for nearly 20 years Iā€™ve now been on added T3 for less than a year and my life has infinitely changed for the better: Iā€™ve gone from two years of being housebound and sleeping most of the time to managing a semblance of normal life (albeit still with a daily ME/ CFS nap!).

This improvement in health is also due to taking the right minerals and vitamins *FOR ME AT THIS TIME* (Ferrous Fumerate for my Ferritin/ iron deficiency especially), as recommended by the lovely Thyroid UK Admins here - who actually read my blood test results properly unlike my ā€œall within rangeā€ well-meaning but ignorant GP.

I may still have ME/ CFS and Fibromyalgia, but at least I know my thyroid is no longer struggling, nor is a lack of particular vitamins, minerals or under-medicated T4 or T3 contributing to chronic fatigue or chronic pain symptoms.

Since I discovered Thyroid UK on Health Unlocked I have also referred friends and acquaintances to this forum in the hope that it might be equally beneficial to them.

I have also passed on the love myself by fielding messages from thyroid patients requesting info on where I sourced T3 and NDT.

So, having just this morning referred yet another friend to this forum who had been let down by her health providers, I simply wanted to send all Thyroid UK Admins and members my thanks for your ongoing support to myself and others.

When the medical establishment has all but abandoned us thyroid patients, it makes a huge difference knowing we have a highly informed group of advisors to trust with our health.

I honestly couldnā€™t thank you hard-working Thyroid UK Admins enough for filling in the gaps our uneducated GPs and Endocrinologists leave behind.

Big hugs to all,

Abi.
