Need Armour Thyroid

Hello, I am kind of new here but not to this page. I am inquiring about how to get Amour Thyroid without a prescription. I was on Armour most of my life and felt alive but never manic. My thyroid studies were all normal. However about eight years ago aa doctor switched me to Levothyroxine and I haven't felt good since. There wasn't much I could say at the time because Armour was not available at the time but now it is but most doctors in this area refuse to prescribe it. To complicate matters, I have heart failure and I experience most of the negative side effects of the Levo. I know I should not be taking it but I have no recourse until I can find a medical provider that is willing to prescribe it. As a retired medical provider I am so angry that doctors no longer listen to patients, they continue to pile one prescription on top of the other without considering that the meds they prescribe may be causing the problems they are treating. One of the leading causes of death in the elderly is taking too many prescriptions. If I took everything the doctor wrote me as she wrote them I would be dead now and I continue to have problems, particularly obtaining the Armour Thyroid. Many doctors will tell you that synthetic thyroid is better for us but I disagree. At my age I have learned that I know my body, just me and I need to be true to the way I feel so I am here to avail myself of your experiences and perhaps find some Armour Thyroid.

I think one of the requirements for becoming a doctor is that one must first be a patient. I was a patient for many years, primarily related to back injuries and I got so tired of the doctors running me thru like cattle. One day I went to my doctor for an ear infection. He really liked me so he walked into the room and started asking and asked me how my back was and left the room to write a prescription which he sent in with the nurse. When she started to walk out of the room I told her I had not had a chance to ask him to look at my ears and she told me make an appointment to see him in three months to talk to him about it! And the same darned thing happened to me today. I waited for three months to see a cardiologist for clearance for a surgery I desperately need but when I got there they had cancelled it! Now they want me to come back in and sit while he decides if he can work me in! This is just two times they have puled this stuff over the years. Their office is still in flames! When I went to work in the medical field all of those experiences made an impression on me about what "NOT" to be. II heard my patients, asked for clarification, and asked again. I already had read their charts before they were there to see me so I remembered the patient before they arrived. I worked hard - very hard - to be what I wanted from a doctor! I am not bragging when I say my patients loved me only because I listened. What is the point in spending those years and money to treat the ill like cattle? That is a totally redundant question because you know as well as I do that the answer is money! Thank you for helping me and keep in touch with anything that comes to mind!
