Hi I've not posted for a while now I've been having investigations into very high cortisol possible Cushings these have come back normal !! My Endo suggested Bisoprolol for palpitations increasing my Levo and to get counselling!!!

I have started my Adrenavive II this morning only 1/2 capsule to start I was going to take this for few weeks then start my Metavive I but because of awful side effects headaches etc I've started 1/2 capsule of each this morning and I think il continue for a week then increase !

I was only on 50mcg Thyroxine I've tolerated them for 8 months but I've thrown in the towel today to try the Adrenavive & Metavive so hopefully in a few weeks I should notice some difference ! Sorry for long post I'm a little nervous as I don't know what to expect .

Thanks For any comments and advice very much appreciated

Hi Seaside Susie

I'm not sure if Adrenavive II is just for low cortisol ? I've not had chance to go back and see Dr P he didn't know I'd got very high Cortisol when he recommended Adrenavive and the Metavive ! If it's not for adrenals that are exhausted with high cortisol I think I better not take it I don't want to make things worse !

I might try and call to get some more advice .

Thankyou for highlighting that for me

This all sounds very weird to me why don't you have all of the thyroid, minerals, adrenals tested privately and then post the results on here for help. That's exactly what I did and now feel well. I don't visit the GP or Endo anymore they both made me feel worse and neither of them knew what they were taking about, either.

I live in France so it's also saved me money which I now put towards the bloods tests I require. I self medicate and that's saved me money too!

Thankyou BunnyJean

I did have my Thyroid Blood Tests through Medichecks which all came back TSH 4 T4 T3 all in lower part of their ranges . My Saliva Cortisol Tests were through Regenerus and the Cortisol levels were extremely high way above ranges that's when my GP sent me to Endo for Tests query Cushings but these all came back normal ! They wanted me to take heart tablets to stop palpitations and Levo increased as my TSH is still 3.4 !!!

I've stopped Levo now trying Metavive I to see how I feel , but it's only 3 days so not sure until I get in the right dose .

I will be doing the same as you self medicating and having private Tests until I feel well again .

Thankyou for Advice it's much appreciated.

I would definitely check. The reason I mentioned it was because my cortisol was at the top of their ranges for the first 3 samples of the day and I was recommended (by a practioner) a supplement that contained cordyceps, rhodiola and Asian ginseng to lower it. It certainly has done that, I am now at the very bottom of the ranges and I've now been told to stop that supplement and take Adrenavive ll to raise it. I will be keeping a much closer eye on my levels this time!!

Thankyou so much for this information I actually think you have prevented me from becoming more ill !!!!

I will stop the Adrenavive now and just take the Metavive I and see how I go :) I will look out for these supplements and definitely give them a try !!

It just shows being part of a wonderful group of caring people with such a wealth of knowledge really does make a difference :)

You might want to check with Dr P, or do some research into all the supplements I mentioned as I am only repeating what happened to me and the supplements I was recommended to take. I am waiting for my Adrenavive to be delivered and will give it 3 months and retest adrenals.

Finding out my cortisol had plummeted from top of range to bottom of range was not only a bit of a shock but could possibly have contributed to why I've been feeling so unwell lately.

Oh of course I will do I'm arranging a telephone appointment as soon as possible . I will try supplements and then retest saliva cortisol in a few months . I do hope you soon start to feel better soon too 😀

Thanks Again for the great advice
