Anyone know how these levels are looking? My gp ordered bloods this week as lots of joint pain. Ft3 4.5 Range (3.1-6.8) Ft4 13.6 Range (12.0-22) Tsh 0.02 Range (0.3- 4.5) I am currently on three grains of ndt, only raised to three last week. Does it look as if I need to raise more? Thank you for any replies

What did you raise from?

You will need to leave your dose for 6-8 weeks before retesting. Depending on how much you have put it up its likely a further increase will be needed in a few weeks.

What about vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 levels?

Low vitamin D is often cause of joint pain

Do you have Hashimoto's (diagnosed by high thyroid antibodies)

Hi SlowDragon, got tested for b12 folate and ferritin and all came back normal. Didn't get figures. I have graves disease.

So you had RAI or thyroidectomy?

Make sure to pick up actual results and ranges from GP. You are entitled to copies of your own blood test results

Considering you take NDT your FT3 looks too low

Make sure vitamin D is tested
