Hi I'm new I think I have Hashimotos but not too sure?

TG antibodies >4000 (<115)

TPO antibodies 998 (<34)

TSH 30.5 (0.2 - 4.2)

FT4 9.3 (12 - 22)

FT3 2.2 (3.1 - 6.8)

I take 25mcg levo diagnosed 2011. Thank you for reading

You are very undermedicated on 25mcg. Ask your GP to increase dose.

The goal of Levothyroxine is to restore the patient to euthyroid status. For most patients that will be when TSH is 0.2 - 1.0 with FT4 in the upper range. FT4 needs to be in the upper range in order that sufficient T3 is converted. Read Treatment Options in thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/about_... Thyroid peroxidase and thyroglobulin antibodies are positive for autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's). There is no cure for Hashimoto's which causes 90% of hypothyroidism. Levothyroxine treatment is for the low thyroid levels it causes. Many people have found that 100% gluten-free diet is helpful in reducing Hashi flares, symptoms and eventually antibodies.

how long have you had such appalling results, very high TSH and well below range T4 and T3? Deffo need raise in levo dose and because of positive antibody result would suggest you get tested for blood levels of Iron, ferritin, folate, Vit B12, Vit D, which have likely been trashed by your high antibodies. Until they are well at the top of the range you won't feel good regardless of levo dose.

Going gluten free helped me a lot as did having good levels of Vit D and B12
