Tsh suppression

I came across this recent research paper.

journals.plos.org/plosone/a...

One of its claims is that tsh suppression is controlled 52% by t4, 38% by t3 and the other 10% by a combination of the two hormones.

Is there any evidence of this in practice? Do those on t3 have less suppressed tsh than those on t4, ndt or a combo of t4 and t3?

This is a complicated paper that looks at what happens in real life subjects. If you want to know what happens when you take T3 or T4 this paper ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl... shows that liothyroine tablets are about three times as potent as levothyroxine. i.e. 10 mcg liothyroine will have the same effect on TSH as 30 mcg levothyroxine.
