I had a scan on Friday on my thyroid and wont receive my results for a week or so but over heard the dr saying about being referred what does this mean ?? I’m so anxious and my anxiety is through the roof any help please

Could that have been " being refered to an Endocrinologist " ?

I was - after my scan. But the Consultant did say briefly what he saw as soon as he started the scan. Try not to be anxious.

My GP had the results the next morning.

Contact your GP for a telephone appointment so that you can discuss your worries. Remember that thyroid conditions are very treatable and the vast, vast majority of thyroid nodules are benign.
