LouiseC1966,

How is the 300,00iu prescribed ie daily, weekly, monthly?

My GP prescribed 40,000iu daily x 14 days and then 2,000iu daily x 8 weeks which totalled 672,000iu over 10 weeks and raised my vitD from <10 to 107.

LouiseC1966,

1 x 300,000iu dose? If it is in smaller units it would be better to take it weekly or daily.

I don't really know, I need to ask her, she just said she takes 300,000iu and she told me it was monthly

LouiseC1966,

It would be better to take it daily or weekly than once a month if the dose can be split.
