Painful neck and very swollen glands...I was diagnosed nearly a year ago with Hashimotos and it has been a long journey. Waiting for latest results to come back. Gp amenable to maintaining nice low TSH levels...but only on Levothyroxine. Over the last 2 months I have had pain in the front of my neck and v swollen glands under my ears and down my neck. I am sure it is thyroid related ...but it is very uncomfortable and interrupting my sleep.
Any suggestions or help or just sympathy greatfully received...thanks

Has your GP examined your neck? If there are lumps (nodules or cysts) or swelling (goitre) your GP should refer you for an ultrasound scan of the thyroid gland.
Swollen glands usually indicates infection. Has your GP done a full blood count?
