Flu jab with hashimotos

So I took my time this year trying to decide if to have the flu jab as it's recommended for asthma but not so much for hashimotos. I had it yesterday and have been very ill since, extreme vertigo, sore throat, lumps in mouth and what I can only describe as a hot tingling through my body. Has anyone else had these side effects. I will be yellow carding it.

I have never had a 'flu jab and wouldn't have one. These are a few past posts.

It's not tested on people with autoimune disease or any other disease. My neighbour with lupus was made very ill by the jab and will never have another. You just need to take it easy and drink plenty of fluids (and perhaps some fruit and veg juice or smoothies) until the symptoms go away - see the GP or walk in centre if they get worse and don't have another. They used to test for allergies to the vaccine way back when and now they don't bother, so not surprising you had a reaction. What's even more galling is that a study done this year shows that you don't even know what you are being vaccinated against as the way the vaccine is prepared causes it to mutate to a strain more useful to birds! So you have gone through all this for nothing.

It was a real dilemma for me this year but now I know I will never have another. Thank you for the tips
