Hi,

I was all set to refer myself privately to one particular consultant endocrinologist who has been recommended to me, but then someone else has suggested that I get a referral Dr Abbi Lulsegged (who sounds - from their description of him - to be approachable and appears to treat patients holistically). However, they weren't able to advise me if he is open to prescribing T3 or NDT if he thinks his patients need it. (I believe I am at least under-medicated with T4 - I'm on just 50mcg a day - and have Hashimoto's, ocular myasthenia gravis, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue and need someone to assess me who is as opened minded as possible and will listen to me.) Please could you pm if you can advise me about this.

Maybe his secretary might know what he prescribes. Might be worth a try. I've heard good reports of him, but no personal knowledge.
