Losing hair on thiroyd

Has anybody gone from thiroyd to thyrovanz?. I'm always losing hair with thiroyd. I've been on it for a year. Doc says levels are okay.

I only lost hair on Thiroyd when I became overmedicated on it .

I wouldn't lower it before having your levels tested ....some lose hair when on not enough medication so I would get tested ..you'll be better off ordering your own private one so t3 can be done .You may want to check iron/b12 too as it may not be the actual medication causing the loss but could be down to low /or less than optimal levels of these ....remember when a doctor says your levels are ok that more often than not in reality means they are off and theres room for improvement! !Hope you get sorted .

Thyrovanz is not real NDT. It is a nutritional supplement with no guaranteed hormone content. Your doctor probably wouldn't know ok levels when he sees them. Did he even test the FT3? You need to get hold of your results to find out exactly what was tested, and exactly what the results were.
