So the secretary called to say the consultant had no concerns with my results.
I have a CT scans in a few weeks and a follow up appointment in December.
I still have a lump, any ideas what will happen next or will I be discharged?
Is there any possibility that the result could be a false negative?
Putting my 'lump' to one side, I have been feeling very tired for a long time. Could that be to do with vitamins? Is it worth getting a private blood test done and would you be able o tell me from the results if there is anything I could take to improve the tiredness?
Thanks

If you get a blood test done and post the results (with the reference ranges) here someone knowledgeable will comment. SeasideSusie is particularly knowledgeable. People who use this forum tend to get their blood tests done by medichecks or Blue Horizon. For about £100 you can get all the thyroid hormones done plus B12, Ferritin and folate. I'm not sure about Vitamin D.
Indeed, Vit D can be included eeng Medichecks Thyroid Check Ultravit and Blue Horizon Thyroid plus Eleven both include Vit D along with the other important vitamins/minerals plus a full thyroid panel.
Wavinghello If you post results, with reference ranges, if there are any deficiencies or low levels we can suggest what to supplement and the dose, or whether it needs to be discussed with your GP.
I always do them all early morning before taking any medication, supplements or food. It just keeps everything simple and there's plenty of time to hand it over the post office counter to get picked up that day (I always use Special Delivery Guaranteed Next Day 1pm).
