Iron and levothyroxine

As I have been rather unwell I have been doing lots of research to try to help myself as much as possible one was joining this site

My last blood test came back with a number of things not right one was my vit D levels,were very low also my iron was to high and advice to get medical Advice and stop taking a iron vits, I have not taken any Vits for 3 months or more

I went on National Istitutes Of Health they warn about taking iron vits with Proton Pump Ihibitors ,Levodopa ,Levothyroxine and as we now with levothyroxine take 4hrs away from iron as iron can reduce the absorption .

As I said above my iron is high Ferritin 226 ugl 13.00 150.0 ,

now does one then think that it is having the same effect as taking iron vits ? I think yes but maybe someone has a lot more info on this than myself

I have posted my test results on another post but I will just add the others in that group Folate (serum) 5.24 ug/l 2.91 -500 Active B12 127.0 pool/L 25-165 Vit D 25 Ho 48 nmol/L 50-200.00

I am going to make an appt with G/P but I have other health issue that I am trying to sort out and as the G/P is not helpful I wish to go with as many facts as possible
