Candida advice

I've been having a bit of a read on this subject after reading Dr Peatfields book.

I did the 'spit in a glass of water test' & this indicates that I do have candida.

Has anybody been though getting rid off this & can anybody advise if there's a preferred protocol online that I can follow?

I'm also researching this myself but as you're all so helpful I thought I'd ask :-)

Well! I'm trying to get rid of it on the advice of a private doctor. It feeds on sugar and carbs so I'm supposed to be not eating any of those - even whole grains and limiting fruit drastically to a few berries to reduce fructose. I've also taken high strength nystatin (prescribed). It's really hard to do and I'm not sure I've succeeded. There's lots online about it. Good luck.
