No - I just know my TSH was borderline last time 0.35

I take 150mcg do you think I’m now hypo instead of hyper ?

Did you leave a gap of 24 hours between your last dose of hormones and the test?

Did you have the earliest possible appointment?

Always, from now on, request a print-out of your results from the surgery. We are entitled to by Law. and labs differ in their machines so ranges are different and we need them to respond as best we can.

Your T4 is probably to high, depending on the range of course but you really need a T3 result to give a better picture.

Amx100 You need to give the reference ranges for your test results and tell us what dose of Levo you are on.

You confirmed in a previous post that you have high thyroid antibodies and were told this is Hashi's which is where antibodies attack and gradually destroy the thyroid, the antibody attacks cause fluctuations in symptoms and test results.

You can help reduce the antibodies by adopting a strict gluten free diet which has helped many members here. Gluten contains gliadin (a protein) which is thought to trigger autoimmune attacks so eliminating gluten can help reduce these attacks. You don't need to be gluten sensitive or have Coeliac disease for a gluten free diet to help.

Supplementing with selenium l-selenomethionine 200mcg daily can also help reduce the antibodies, as can keeping TSH suppressed.

Did you give up soya milk as suggested?

I can’t give up soya as I have a dairy allergy and it’s in nearly every substitute... I eat a very low amount of gluten I’m not completely gluten free as my daughter has coeliac disease so as a house we have a lot of gluten free things

I think I’m going to have to get the full tests done privately.

I’ve increased my Levo to 150mcg as I don’t think the Drs suggestion is going to make a lot of different
