Welcome to the forum, Meslina.

Members are more inclined to share sources with new members who include some background about their illness such as how long they’ve been diagnosed, recent thyroid results and ranges, and current thyroid medication. This will also help members guide you to transitioning to NDT.

Meslina,

If you post your recent TSH, FT4 and FT3 results and ranges and say what dose Levothyroxine you are taking I can advise whether you are optimally dosed and suggest what NDT dose you may need.

If you have results and ranges for ferritin, vitamin D, B12 and folate please also post them.

TSH 2.53

T4 72

FT4 15.1

T3 1.12

FT3 40

Reverse T3 0.11

Ferritin 98.8

Vitamin D22.5

B12 406

I would appreciate your help, I am really frightened

I also have high levels of cortisol and very low levels of serotonin

You need to add the ranges as all labs are different.

Meslina,

You are undermedicated to have TSH 2.53 and should request a dose increase which will raise FT4 and FT3 and reduce TSH.

The goal of Levothyroxine is to restore the patient to euthyroid status. For most patients that will be when TSH is 0.4 - 1.0 with FT4 in the upper range. FT4 needs to be in the upper range in order that sufficient T3 is converted. Read Treatment Options in thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/about_...

Ferritin is good.

B12 406 is unlikely to be deficient but if you have the symptoms in b12deficiency.info/signs-an... go to healthunlocked.com/ for advice.

Folate is optimal half way through range.

VitD 22.5 is deficient. Please check your results and confirm whether your unit of measurement is 22.5 nmol/L or 22.5ng/ml?

First of all thank you so much for your support

Vitamin D is 22.5 no I am going to do bigger doses of suplements (10.000)

I knew that something was wrong with me, but I shown blood tests results t 3 doctors no one told me that something need to be done

I am really afraid, I don't feel good and I have many other results which indicates lack of imunity and risk of heart disease in fact I already have hipertension

I just can't believe doctors just prescribe a medication without even really look to blood tests to see the causes of ilnesss

If I am right my high pressure it's due to hipo , low doses of potassium, high cortisol and ACTH

I am really lost and I don't know what to do.

Once again thank you for your attention
