Have you tried the Paleo diet for autoimmune diseases? Along with taking Levoxyl and cytomel I have finally stabilized on the Hasimoto's Thyroiditis readings (this is an autoimmune disease) I also have mastocytosis which is histamine intolerance . Have to eat everything fresh. No leftovers and nothing canned or processed, or I get hives. I guess this goes along with the thyroid problems. It makes a HUGE difference in what you eat and how you feel. I felt horrible all the time for the last year, before I finally got the thyroid levels up to normal
Well, there seems to be some sort of non-absorbing going on there. How do you take your hormone? Do you have Coeliac? Low stomach acid? Leaky gut?
Hi I think I might have coeliac. I take my thyroid hormone on an empty stomach with just a glass of water and I leave several hours between medications and supplements and food
And even if you test negative to coeliac, you are a human, which means you are susceptible to the damaging effects of grain proteins on the gut, not to mention all the other negative effects from phytates (block mineral absorption) Amylopectin A (raises blood sugar sky high and causes inflammation) and so on...
