Had my scan....no change from last one....

Had appointment to get my blood results...wow at last someone actually listened...a locum doctor... she told me i had underactive thyroid....but not drastically...she looked at my last 3blood test ..explained all my results .advised to take vit d....after listening and chatting realised i wasnt on h r t....and most of my symtoms cross to to that i need h r t...i had full hysyrectomy 15 years ago and i stopped taking hrt for some unknow reason....so she said we will try hrt for one month and see how i am...i should feel a change within 3-4days.. if not we can increase the level.....also she gave me a list of blood test i can have in 3 months on a print out to check everything...as she wont be there...i can just present this list to a gp for a test......what a lovely young doctor....i came put of the surgery with a big grin thinking my g p is not gona be happy...lol ...but i am ...and now im feeling hopefull...and she did not ask if i have had a stroke ...now i need to be postive...thanks to you all onhere you do a good job

How long were you on HRT? I was told that I shouldn't be taking it for more than 10 years so it was stopped so I wondered if that was why you stopped? That directive though was some time ago so not sure what the recent directives are.

Hi...only a couple of years..i would wake up and the patch would be stuck on my hubbie or stuck to the sheets so i just stopped.. was over nine years ago... i felt i would try this out as im desperate
