Does iron level need help or ok?

Thyroid results good but what about these? Does low MCH mean iron needs help or not? MCH in range, just low, everything else seems ok. I'm still learning how to interpret iron levels - when they need help and when they don't so would be glad of advice from someone who knows. Any thoughts?

Red blood cell (RBC) count 5.07 10*12/L 3.8 - 5.810*12/L

Haemoglobin estimation 142 g/L 110 - 160g/L

Haematocrit 0.43 0.36 - .47

Mean corpuscular volume (MCV) 83.8 fL 76 - 100fL

Mean corpusc. haemoglobin(MCH) 28 pg 27 - 34pg

Red blood cell distribut width 13.1 % 11 - 16%

OK, answered my own question. Both the MCV and MCH need to be low for iron deficiency.

In iron deficiency, insufficient haemoglobin is made, causing the red blood cells to be smaller and paler than normal. Both MCV and MCH are low.
