Im just starting Thyroid S and wondering about it having a slow release? A product called Eudragit in it? It is safe to take?
I only take my ndt by chewing but havent done this with Thyroid S
What about when your taking supplements?

Eudragit is just a filler. A lot of people have been taking Thyroid S for a long time, so one has to assume that it is safe to take.
Not quite sure what your question is regarding supplements.

Ah, OK. I do believe Thyroid S is slow release, yes. But, quite where it is released I don't know. Not in the stomach, that's for sure. So, if you take your supplements the recommended time away from thyroid hormone, there shouldn't be a problem.

Yes, it is the slow release element. What exactly are you worried about?
If you want to talk to people who are taking Thyroid S, change the title of your question to something like "Information on Thyroid S from those who take it" or something a little less pompous! lol Just putting 'Thyroid S' people probably think you're looking for somewhere to buy it. 
I haven't taken it, myself, but one endo I saw, did recommend it.

Hi- I've been taking Thyroid S for about 2 years now. I have never heard of anyone chewing their NDT? Why do that?
I do not chew it obviously, but I find it works amazingly. Ive lost about 35lbs- I lost it in the first 4 months.
Id say do not chew it, it's designed as it is for a good reason Id think.

I always took my erfa onder my tongue then chewed,as told by my doctor because most Hashimoto patient's have leaky gut and problems digesting,im much better now since going gluten and dairy free so im hoping it will work ok with me,I do have to split one tablet cause I need 90 mg

I also, to help my sluggish energy level, I take a good dose of plant based magnesium everyday.A product called MagSense. Lots if it. And a vit B complex. Sometimes double dose if its a very bad day. Oh and an easy to digest form of Iron for the anemia. I have diagnoses of Fibromyalgia and Hypothyroidism. But I probably have Hashimoto's from what I read. I have been slowly adapting to the hashimoto diet and TRY to avoid gluten or whatever they spray the wheat with causing the problems. I get it on Amazon here, after my GP refusing anything but Synthroid. You shpuld have seen his face when he saw thr weight loss lol- he denied outright that NDT worked and I must have done a fad diet. Nope. He told me to stop it and go back to misery of useless Synthroid while my body obviously can barely convert t4 - to t3. It's Synthroid's manufacturer that brainwashed all our Dr's. Sad.

You could ask for a thyroid antibody test? But you live in uk? Will take months!
Im from the uk but live in Belgium,so different here but not all doctors prescribe ndt and theres only erfa available here now and its got so expensive!
I just hope this thyroid S works for me,I saw that there are 2 others thyirod and tman or something but will see how I get on with this first!
I would I loved to of seen that doctors face! I dont funtion on t4 only

Nice to keep in touch, my first few days on Thyroid S were hell! Dont know if it was the thyroid S or just me? Seem to be feeling better now,I took 2 grains for a few days but changed to one and a half cause I was only on that with erfa, im having blood test done in a few weeks to hiw my body has reacted to thyroid S? If not good im trying thyirod hope your ok? Bye for now
Yes if your adrenals are shot too it makes you feel crappy. I found it went away after a couple weeks of off and on shakes and such. Then it was normal. My TSH is non existant which my GP bitched about lol- but i feel good and all else is fine. STTM said its irrelevant anyway- rather trust the book.
