Hi everyone, I normally take thyroid S from Thailand but supply has dried up since covid19. I was aiming to temporarily switch to Nutri Thyroid (with Nutri Adrenal and T-Convert). Should I take the max dose of 3 Nutri Thyroid a day (my old prescription was 125 Levothyroxine and I have been taking 1 Thyroid S daily of 65mgs) as I'm guessing it won't be as effective as my thyroid S medicine?

I can't help with Nutri Thyroid, I thought all hormone was removed. However, why Nutri Adrenal? Have you done a 24 hour saliva adrenal test to measure cortisol plus DHEA levels? Nutri Adrenal will raise cortisol level so you need to know if this is what you need to do, and you'll only know if you test.
Hi Susie, thanks for your reply. Yes, I think all hormone is removed that's why I thought the maximum daily dose might help match what I'd miss in my Thyroid S (I'm struggling to get 'proper' thyroid replacement online in a hurry). I've had two naturopaths tell me I'm in adrenal fatigue (or some such) so thought I'd give the adrenal support a try.

I wouldn't take anyone's word that you're in adrenal fatigue unless I'd tested first for confirmation.
If NutriThyroid doesn't contain any hormone, I'm not sure how it can match Thyroid-S. But, I've never used it so have no personal experience, hopefully someone who has used it will pop along and share their experience.
Thanks for the advice, I really appreciate it. Is there a natural thyroid replacement that can be found easily in the UK or delivers here, do you know?

Some members have done well with Metavive, it's a thyroid glandular with no declared hormone content but it does seem to suit some members very well. It's purchased in the UK.

Other than that there is a new Thai NDT called TruThyroid which some members have just started using, but of course with it coming from Thailand it may take a few weeks to arrive.
