Hi i am only 27 and suffer from Hashimotos which the doctors have known for years that I was positive for the antibodies. By only testing my TSH they have just gradually increased my levothyroxine dose and took one T4 blood test with the push of the doctor which was in range. After telling the doctor I never felt ok and going through the blood tests of being anaemic or tsh always going up in range i feel like a zombie just a lot of mind fog and not functioning properly. Eventually the doctor referred me to a specialist where they have now tested my tsh t4 t3 follate ferritin vitd b12 and acth test for my adrenal glands. I'm just hoping I get something from these blood tests to prove that is why I feel absolutely crap all the time.

Ask the secretary of the specialist who did the tests for a copy of all the results and reference ranges. When you have them, post them on here in a new post and ask for feedback. Most doctors only care whether test results are in range. But to feel well the results must be in the optimal part of the range.
