That doesn't look much like Grave's! Have you had your antibodies tested? I think we need a little more information, here! :)

Unless also taking Carbimazole?

Yes, as I said, we need more information.

Maryloo03,

Graves doesn't go away after thyroidectomy or RAI. You are now very hypothyroid to have TSH 12.87. If TSH is 12.87 while you are taking 120mg NDT you are very undermedicated.

Should I add another tablet 60 mg?

Maryloo03,

Not all at once. I'd add 30mg now and another 30mg two weeks later. Hold at 180mg for 6-8 weeks and retest.

Maryloo03,

You are very undermedicated to have TSH 11.19 and that will be why you feel unwell. You haven't included lab ref ranges so I can't tell whether T4 and T3 are good or bad. When you are optimally dosed on NDT TSH will be low, <1.0, perhaps even suppressed and FT3 will be in the upper third of range.

I think you will need to be on 240 - 300mg before you are adequately dosed. I suggest you increase dose in 30mg increments at 2 week intervals and retest when you have been taking 240mg for 6 weeks.

Thank you

TSH A11.19 0.32-5.04 mU/L

T4 Free A9.71 0.6-19.7 pmol/L

T3 Free 3.27 3.00-5.90 pmol/L

Maryloo03,

FT4 isn't too bad and may even drop when you increase dose but FT3 is low. Aim for FT3 4.91 - 5.90.
