Your FT4 is too high and your FT3 is only just over mid-range. So, you have a conversion problem. You would probably do better adding some T3 to your levo.

But iv been ok for 9 years with a tsh below 1 and ft4 very slightly above range?? Dont understand why this has happened???

Must admit iv felt better with the ft3 lower...

Do you mean you felt better with FT4 lower?

Why has it happened? Difficult to know, but probably your absorption has improved. But, not your conversion.

Also how do i get my endo to give me t3?? ..

If I could answer that question, I'd be a genius! It depends so much on the individual endo, and I don't know yours. Some endos wouldn't give you T3 if you put them on the rack and tortured them to within an inch of their lives! (Now, there's a thought... lol) Some of them just don't believe in/approve of T3. They're very ignorant. But if an endo is dead set against something, there's no way you can force him to do it - unless you are good at hypnotising...

Was i tested too early after 4 weeks? I think the tsh would be even lower and ft3 even higher after 6 weeks dont u? Im havin all the signs of overmedicated?...

Yes, you were tested too early. The TSH might have been lower, but then again, it might not. The TSH is unpredictable - and also irrelevant. It doesn't matter how low it goes. Doubtful that the T3 would have been much higher.

In a sense, you are over-medicated, because your T4 is too high. I've never been in that position, so I don't know how it feels, but other people do say that if the FT4 is too far over-range, it causes symptoms. But, on the other hand, you FT3 is not high enough to make you well. And, reducing your T4 enough to bring it into range, will seriously lower your T3. Can you not buy your own T3?

Iv come to the conclusion too much t4 is what is affecting me and making me weird!! As not like this when its under or very slightly over ..

Well, try reducing your dose, and see how you feel. It's all trial and error, with thyroid. You have to find your sweet spot. :)

Thanks iv decided to try alternate doses of 75 one day and 100 the next ad when i was on 75 it ft3 was too low and ft4 not high enough but when on 100 the ft4 went too high and ft3 4.66 top og range is 6.1.. iv felt great at times mentally even when on 75mcg but i feel crazy and strange and moods weird when ft4 is too high.. so yeah think i need to find my sweet spot aftrr9 years of being ok im sure i can get back to that?..

Our bodies change, over time, and so do our needs. I doubt your FT3 is even mid-range, so perhaps your conversion has got worse over the years. Having the FT4 too high is never a good thing, but then, neither is low FT3.

Ill just have to see how i go until i see endo again in october as all this started when i was put on the new teva was ok until then imbeen back on actavis about 6 montgs but started on them slowly from 25mcg as im so sensitive to change so thats why its took a while plus i stopped levo altogether for 3 weeks so tsh went over 100!.. im affected more mentally than physically dont know which is worse though! Feeling like your goin mad is certainly not nice!... if things dont improve i will ask the endo for some t3 and state the facts of tge ft4 being do high but ft3 not...

Ah, so you were on Teva! That could explain it all, then. I believe lots of people have had problems with Teva.
