Freddyhirsch,
You'll have to try it and see. The different fillers in different brands can affect absorption.
I don't think anyone has identified why Henning Thybon is formulated with liothyronine hydrochloride - and I am not convinced it makes any difference. (I really do not know about any other German makes - if they even exist!)
Do bear in mind that identifying that the sodium salt is most often used in both levothyroxine and liothyronine has only come about relatively recently. From a patient perspective, it is not important. It is not as if there is any alternative such as "levothyroxine potassium" for most of us! But it is right and proper for medicines to be accurately and fully identified.
Will be interesting to see as I've been on Mercury Pharma Liothyronine Sodium and have just placed an order for the Thybon. I didn't realise there was a difference.
As far as the T3 bit is concernd there is no difference at all. Neither the sodium nor the chloride are integral parts of the molecule and dissociate from T3 when it is taken.
Thybon (liothyronine hydrochloride) made in Germany is supposed to be a very good quality of T3. You will probably feel better on it. If you have any problems you could try getting T3 made by Sandoz, Austria.
