Really suffering now as I expect a lot of you are. Been without liothyronine since last Sunday 18th August. Don't think I have a bone left that's not hurting! Plus put 7lbs on!!!
Thinking about getting liothyronine myself. Anybody got a good reliable source? Also is it safe to do this yourself, as a bit worried about blood tests.
I'm self employed and can't afford to take time off, yet I'm in too much pain to work!

Did your GP increase Levothyroxine dose when he stopped your Liothyronine?
You said your GP would reinstate your Liothyronine if you need it so why do you want to self medicate?
Thank you, just a quick update. Requested a call back this morning from my doctor. Spoke with him and he already had the matter in hand!
He'd written to my specialist and organised my liothyronine, just been to my chemist and got it.
Will no doubt take a few days to get back to where I was, but at least I've got it again.

Thank you, but I think the credit goes to my Doctor who knew it would happen and had written to the specialist on the day I saw him.
He's what you might call outstanding and I gave him my thanks for being so outstanding.
