Anette65,

There've been no complaints of bad Erfa batches in a very long time.

Whatever your problem is, it can't be a conversion issue because the T3 in Erfa will overcome poor conversion.

What ever medical treatment i choose it seems like its working really well for 4-5 years. Then I need to change to something else. Problem is that there is nothing more to try. :(

Annette65,

Have you had thyroid function tested recently to check you are optimally dosed?

Im a bit over dosed. My TSH is 0.02.

Anette65,

Do you have a result for T3? As long as T3 is within range you are not overmedicated because TSH is low.

T3 is 3,0 (ref 3,1-6,8)

T4 is 13 (ref 12-22)

You are t on enough medication. When you are taking any form of T3 then TSH will be suppressed and FT4 can be as low as halfway down the range but FT3 should be high in the range. No wonder you don't feel well.

Anette there are still a few reports on other sites of people finding batches of ERFA which don't seem the usual strength and/or are making them ill. Most of us who had problems changed to other brands, but some in Canada weren't able to and they're the ones who are now having problems. The number you quote is the DIN number - Drug Identification Number - not the batch number, so you may find more if you find the batch number and expiry date and do a search for those. As a matter of interest how long have you been taking ERFA, were your previous blood test results similar to what they are now and have you changed your dose at all?

Thanks, Framboise. I will find the batch number and google it. I have been on them for about 5 years. Here in Sweden most doctors are just interested in TSH and they think mine is too supressed ofcourse. They dont seem to have a clue about the other results. the last testing was in april with the results I wrote above. The thing that recently changed is that Im on T3 as well as NDT. Im taking 20 mg T3 three times a day and 125 mg NDT twice a day.

I have been on Erfa all of 2017 and did great bought a year supply beginning of 2017 when I bought more in Dec. Of 2017 it had changed and made me feel over medicated headache and back of neck stiff. It is now on back order till Feb.6 keeping my fingers crossed it will revert back to the way it was. 🤔
