Results of my bloods

Just thought I'd post my results see if anyone can make anything of them.

My TSH was 8.9.

My ESR was 10.

The image were some that came back not in range.

What is the range for TSH? These look like NHS results. Without knowing the ranges I can't be sure but it sounds like your TSH is too high so either you are under medicated if you are on Levothyroxine or your thyroid isn't functioning properly. Have you had blood tests for Hashimotos Thyroiditis? The results are not on the document. It would be TPO and TG ab, Thyroid antibodies tests.

Hi

Yes they are NHS ones, the range is mlU/L 0.27 - 4.2. I've been told to add 25mg to my thyroxine medication.

I do have hashimotos yes, I should have stated that above. I haven't had the TG ab, TPO or antibodies done this time.

Make sure you get a blood test in 6 weeks time and raise the dose again according to results as you will probably need it. I was wondering if you are taking iron supplements?

I would make an appointment to discuss the other results that are out of range with your GP.
