low blood sugar

On previous post I asked about low blood sugar episodes that didnt resolve after eating. I seem to have resolved the issue by taking nutri adrenal plus in the morning and avoiding coffee. My GP refuses to consider addisons and says that real hypos are very rare. So I just wondered have any of you who have had hypos taken blood sugar levels at the time. I am planning to induce a hypo and take my own blood sugar levels when it starts to see what is happening. I am concerned that as I am likely to have surgery within the coming year that if I have addisons I need to establish it.
