Morning. I've just picked up a copy of my 1st blood test results since being diagnosed with Hashimotos and prescribed 25mcg of levothyroxine. (May 2017)
I have a gp appt on saturday and would appreciate some advice on what to say.
Symptoms that I still have:
Tiredness, but not as extreme as previously very achy joints and bones swelling of hands and feet
Results (july)
Tsh 2.68 (0.34-5.6) was 5.66 in May
T4 12.1 (7.5-21.1) was 13.35 in May
Vit d 75 (>75 optimal) was 63 in May
Vit b12 465 (187-883) was 238 in May
I have been supplementing vit d and b12 since May results so I'm pleased that these values are increasing.
Thank you in advance

Time for GP to increase dose. It should step up in 25mcg dose increase, then retest 6-8 weeks after
Always make sure any thyroid test is done as early as possible in morning and fasting, don't take Levo in 24 hours before, delay and take straight after.
