Hi - there is no indication in your previous post of why you are presumably changing from thyroid s to t3? Did thyroid s not suit you? Are you intending to add t3 or replace your ndt altogether?

As to your results, your ft3 is too low, indicating you are under-medicated. Most people would feel better with it around or even above 5.5.

Your b12 is somewhat less than optimum - typically around 1000 - but not desperately low. Your folate is fine, what about ferritin and vit d? Especially if you are considering t3 only, it is important that all these are optimum. Do you have hashimotos? If yes are you gluten free and taking selenium?

The more info you give us, the better we will be able to advise

Hi, yes I had been on T3 and then Thyroid S and I felt better on T3 and got some form Mexico, My D3 is 85 and Ferritin is 56. Both of which I would like to up a bit. I have only had one of the antibody test to hashimotos and that was negative, but I do need to get both the tests. I do feel undermedicated, but was on 6 grains of Thyroid S and am on 75 mg of T3 , now.

Also I should mention I am 24 year old male diagnosed at 19 and 150 kg, I gained a LOT of weight before diagnosis and have lost some, but is has been and continues to be a struggle, which I know is not unusual. I walk about 7 miles , 5 days a week.

Hi, that is a substantial dose you are on and yet you are still dramatically under-medicated. That, combined with nutrient deficiencies, could suggest an absorption problem. First check is when you take your thyroid meds. Do you take them on an empty stomach and have no food or any drink with milk for at least an hour afterwards? Do you keep any other supplements or meds at least 2 hrs away? 4 hrs for iron and vit d? Do you take any form of anti-indigestion medicines?

If none of those are an issue, then your digestive system would be the next stop. Do you have any digestive issues? Do you suspect that you have any food allergies or intolerances? Have you ever tried cutting out gluten?
