Hi I am a new member I have been increasingly getting a range of symptoms which are affecting my work so I was looking for a complaint to match my symptoms and fit underactive thyroid 100% so feel relieved. I now needs to convince my GP to do the thyroid blood test. Wish me luck and I look forward to renewed energy. Anne

If you get a blood test done ask for Vitamin B12, Ferritin and Vitamin D to be done too. They are often low in people with thyroid problems. Then when the results are in ask for a copy (in the UK we have a right to our test results) and post them here with the lab ranges eg FT4 12.3(12-22). Someone will comment on your test results and interpret them for you. If it is your first thyroid blood test you should have thyroid antibody tests done too.
