This is a follow up from my earlier posting for you kind people who wanted thyroid results.
So the lab have not tested T3 on one occasion, yesterday, and nurse could not find results of t3 from the past, once requested by gp so it was requested by nurse in surgery again yesterday. Got results today, no free t3 results but free t4 was tested 19.6 and range is 11-25. Tsh is 0.34 (range0.27-4.20). The gp in past told me hashis test was fine. I was also told t3 was fine!!! So why cant they find the results?!?! These new results seem ok to me??? Do you think i should try self medicating with either dhea or pregnenolone? Any advice on where i can obtain these please? Also i need to start on low doses. I am in uk

If you want advice on taking DHEA or Pregnenolone members will need to see cortisol and DHEA results and ranges.
TSH 19.6 and TSH 0.34 indicate you are adequately dosed if you are taking Levothyroxine.
If your practice can't find T3 results it is unlikely they were done. FT3 is rarely tested in primary care but you can order your own TSH, FT4 and FT3 blood tests via thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/testin...
A negative thyroid peroxidase (TPOab) test doesn't conclusively rule out Hashimoto's. Some people are TPOab negative but are positive for thyroglobulin antibodies which also means Hashimoto's. You can order thyroglobulin antibody blood test via the link above.
thank you Clutter. this post was the second I had posted and the first one included my cortisol/dhea results and they are worrying me a lot especially my dhea which came out at 0.23 mean!
I will try to find original post to include here but I am a bit of a novice at this......
Unfortunately I don't know enough about DHEA and cortisol to comment. If your question wasn't answered in your original post repost the results and ranges in a new question.
