I'm new to this, hope maybe someone could help me out with my results?
Have had overactive thyroid in past was treated with block and replace therapy for around two years nothing changed was offered radio active iodine or removal. Decided to go without both and see if it would correct itself. It did but have put on around three stone in the last couple of years, have tried numerous diets but have been unsuccessful so decided to seek help with a nutritionist he did a full thyroid test.
These are the results?
Free Thyroxine 47.08
T4 163.9
Free T3 13.82
Thyroglobulin Antibodies 588.6
Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies 59.27
Could anyone shed some light?
Many thanks

You are very hyperthyroid and should see your GP as a matter of urgency. You will need to resume taking Carbimazole or Carbimazole and Levothyroine block and replace.
Were TSI or TRab antibodies tested to confirm or rule out Graves disease previously? Remission from hyperthyroidism is successful in less than 50% of patients with Graves disease.
Thyroid peroxidase and thyroglobulin antibodies are elevated which usually confirms autoimmune thyroiditis (Hashimoto's) but those antibodies are frequently elevated in patients with Graves disease too.
I was previously diagnosed with Graves and Graves' disease of eyes. It was the TSH test and the reading for the two years was 00 while taking PTU and levothyroxine, it was only when I stopped taking the drugs that it went back to normal.
It hyper though can't understand the weight gain or fatigue ?
