TSH level

My latest serum TSH level was 2.08 miu/l range is 0.30-5.00miu/l (Sep 2016)

Prior to that it was

1.65 (Sep 2015)

1.44 (Jun 2015)

1.65 (Mar 2015)

1.52 (Dec 2014)

I've been on 75mcg OD the whole time from Oct 2014.

Do we think this dose is right?

Hi

You need to get ideally your FT4 range as well and if you can your FT3 range but hypothetically speaking my non medically trained opinion is that if your TSH is rising then a dose increase may be a good thing. More importantly how do you feel? If you are symptomatic then i would ask your GP if you can try an increase.

I would say I feel more symptomatic now than before I was diagnosed. The FT3 and FT4 weren't tested.

I have the same problem as you in that the last Thyroid test i had done only the TSH was done whereas i normally get FT4 and FT3 done as well! My GP agreed that if i was symptomatic that i could raise my dose which i have but i'm not happy with this as i would prefer that the FT4 and FT3 were done which my GP requested but the lab who test the blood decided they knew better!
