Under active thyroid

Hi everyone

I'm Jenny diagnosed with under active thyroid 13 years ago caused ( they said ) by radiotherapy for tongue cancer .

Now I have neuropthy caused by thyroid ( don't believe that either ) and dry eye syndrome ( also caused by thyroid )

I take iron and VIT D but my B12 is good

Have you any resent bloods you can post with their ranges? That may make it easier for others to comment.

Peripheral neuropathy can be caused by severe and long term untreated hypothyroidism.

Radiation can cause dry eyes and so may hypothyroidism. You may need to use preservative free eye drops and gels.

If you also have a dry mouth and dry nasal passages your GP should investigate Sjogren's Syndrome.

I've been taking thyroxine for years and always gave bloods done .
