So got bloods back after 5 1/2 weeks on NDT only.TSH 5.9 ,T3 3.7.T3 never been that low ever.So will increase from 1 1/4 grain to 1 1/2.But why do I feel so hot when TSH so high and t3 so low.Is it something to do with coming off t3 only ? Have headache when rise to 1 1/2 grains,did not have headache on 40 mcg of t3 only ,so why do I have headache now.

You are under medicated to have TSH 5.9. Most people on NDT will have TSH <1.0 with FT3 in the upper range when optimally medicated. You will probably need to be taking around 3 grains to become optimally dosed.
