What tests should I have to check for hypothoride?

I had a full hysterectomy 19 years ago and my healths never been the same. My mother is hypothoride. I have had numerous tests done but all normal range. The doctor would only check the following.

Serum TSH 1.2

Serum free T4 11.6

I'm sorry I don't, the receptionist only gave me this information.

TSH 1.2 is euthyroid (normal)

FT4 ranges vary so much your FT4 could be below range, low in range or mid-range.

Ask the receptionist whether the range is included. If not, ask the practice manager where you can obtain the result rather than making an appointment to find out from your GP.

Very interesting! I have just googled this condition and one reason for this is condition is heavy blood loss. 19 years ago I had a very long operation and my consultant said he nearly had to give me a transfusion, but didn't because of the risk. Family members have benign growths on the pirtuartry gland.

I'm in the process of having private tests done. It didn't include all of the tests you have recommended but I will upgrade. I'm also waiting for cortisol and DHEA tests to come back.
